It's that time of year! We've compiled our best 9 reads of the year. Our thoughts on each will be below the video.
#9 - Breaking Free From Broke
Another practical, easy read from the Dave Ramsey team. Gives great advice in the relatable style of @georgekamel geared towards young adults.
#8 - Peter Pauper Press Classics
VERY beautiful classic books that have a premium feel for an affordable price ($25 or less).
#7 - Scripture Hymnal
The latest from @therabbitroom, it takes pieces of scripture and turns them into song, both for worship and memorization. Wonderfully executed and already making waves across churches!
#6 - The Wood at Midwinter
Perfect for the Winter season. Short, memorable, and illustrated with true care and beauty.
#5 - The Collected Poems of J. R. R. Tolkien
The first time all of Tolkien’s poems have been collected! Gorgeous in their own right, but accompanied by detailed history that connects you to the brilliant mind of their author.
#4 - Diary of an Old Soul
A new edition of a classic epic poem by the Father of Christian Fiction. So deep and touching that C. S. Lewis bought it as a gift for his wife!
#3 - The Bookshop
A bit self-evident. A perfectly timed release though, and taught us so much about the legacy this store is continuing!
#2 - The Mythmakers
A book that made me gasp, giggle, then sob. The perfect honoring of two literary legends, and one that has already become a yearly read. @johnhendrix created a MASTERPIECE.
#1 - Wind and Truth.
Came out just this month, but already on top. We’re witnessing history with @brandsanderson - the Tolkien and Jordan of our age.
